Eighth annual Permian Basin Intertribal Powwow

Permian Basin Fair & Exposition
City: Odessa
Dates: Friday, Sept 5, thru Saturday, Sept. 13
Hours: Friday 5 p.m. to midnight; Saturday 10 a.m. to midnight; Sunday noon to 10 p.m.; Monday-Thursday 5-10 p.m.
Location: Ector County Coliseum Grounds, 42nd & Andrews Hwy.

Diez y Seis de Septiembre Parade
City: Odessa
Organization: Sponsored by Odessa Barrio Lions Club
Dates: Saturday, Sept. 13

   Registration and line-up beginning at 8 a.m. at 1100 S. Grant (Corner of Grant & Clements) at 10 a.m. Parade will go west on Clements, left onto Crane and ending at McKinney Park. Entry fee for parade charged.

Guardian Angel Riding/Rodeo Association Play Day
City: Odessa
Dates: Saturday, Sept. 13
Hours: Exhibition 8:30-10:45 a.m. Start at 11 a.m.
Location: West Texas Horse Center, 2400 S. Moss Ave.

CAF Airsho 2008

Organization: Commemorative Air Force

Hours: Gates open Saturday & Sunday 7:30 a.m.; Aircraft available for viewing Saturday & Sunday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; Flying event schedule Saturday & Sunday noon to 4 p.m.

   The CAF Airsho 2008 features World War II airpower features a demonstration plus over 100 airplanes on display. Reenactment of famous aviation battles of WWII, modern military aircraft and stunt flying.
